Encourage self-esteem

Be supportive and remember that often times bedwetting can negatively impact a child’s self-esteem and confidence. Don’t let enuresis be the primary focus each night. Instead talk about an area your child does excel at or something positive they accomplished and praise them for it. What tips do you have that have helped with your child’s self-esteem?

I have an 11 year-old son that knows I (et al) think the world of him in many capacities. We are very fortunate to have him spend every night at home (vs hospital), and we don't get angry at him for having this issue. However, he is capable of being dry and has gone so much as 9 consecutive days with having that success. Most months (in total) he is dry more than wet, though these successes are not consecutive. This month he has been dry only once. I'm at my wits end! We have tried alarms and been to doctor's to insure nothing is medically wrong (insert gratitude again), and still no success. I'm at my wits end, and know he is too. He's entering middle school next year and I'm fearful of the teasing that he will experience if this leaks (pardon the pun) out. HELP!!!!!
